Larger developers are putting ordtak

en Larger developers are putting more money into dust control than they used to. Over the last several years it has been remarkably better. Last year was a really good year, not to say we've had no notices of violations or penalties.

en We had a lot of opportunities last year on offense that we didn't take advantage of. We had a fumble or two, one that I know of on a pretty good drive and a lot of penalties. We have to keep our penalties at a minimum, they're a very aggressive defense. They're going to blitz some people and come at you. We have to control that and make them pay when they're gambling on the edges.

en The contemporaneous penalties, the loss of scholarships, they are meant to be warnings to institutions and to teams that you are headed on the wrong course and need to turn yourself around. Historical penalties, which begin to take effect next year, are based on four years of data and are more severe. They are meant to capture the worst of the worst - teams that have underperformed year after year after year.

en If we get more money, we could develop a small detector in a year and a larger one in less than two years. At the current rate, it would take four years.

en I've been coming for 10 years and I've gotten at least one good idea every year that made me some money. Last year they convinced me I should buy energy stocks and I had a wonderful year.

en I think we've learned about how we can win games here, and how we lose games. And going into the final eight games I think if we can control the turnovers and we can control penalties and always go out and play physical, we're going to be sitting pretty good at the end of the year.

en If you do an amnesty plan every five years, people will hold on to their money rather than pay taxes, because they know they will be able to pay up without penalties. The fact that we had a successful amnesty last year argues that we should wait at least a decade or probably 20 years to have another.

en The additional six-month suspension may seem harsh, but that's the penalty for three violations. Everyone knew we were testing and what the penalties were for violations. Two independent labs confirmed the three positives.

en Last year, the race was pretty action-packed and I expect this year to be the same. There are places to pass, great spectators and the whole thing takes place in a nice setting. Last year, we had a good run but Sebastien took the win. I'm planning on returning the favor this year and putting the No. 3 car up front.

en That's the biggest difference, that I'm hitting it so much farther and harder. My putting is just as good, but it's been sporadic this year, which is interesting. I normally don't putt that way. This year is one of those weird years where I either putt great or I don't putt well at all.
