We've been a top 20 - sometimes even a top 10 - defensive team this season. We've had some games where we played great defense. We've lost that, not because we've forgotten how to play. We've lost our toughness and discipline. That has to be gotten back. Certainly that's my job.

en The strength of our ball club has been pitching, defense, and speed. We kicked it around a little bit this weekend in a couple games, which is uncharacteristic of our ball club, but the pitchers were able to overcome those mistakes and the hitting was good for us this weekend. We played good this weekend. That's a heck of a job those guys do coaching. It's nice to play well here. I don't think we've ever won three games here.
