en One of my co-workers Rob Campbell played lacrosse in college and was always talking about it. He taught me the rules, the terminology and pretty soon I thought it might be kind of fun to introduce the game to kids in Pueblo.

en Safety is in large part an educational process. The Internet is moving really quickly in the same way that we all were taught to not talk to strangers or not get into a car . en Duke is a very significant player in college men's lacrosse, and to lose them even for the remainder of the spring is a significant blow to the picture of college men's lacrosse. It's why we all are so concerned and so interested in Duke's wanting to get this thing started again. It's a very important piece of the college lacrosse puzzle.

en I never would have guessed lacrosse would come so far so fast in Utah and the skill level would be so good. We have a couple of kids every year now who go on to play lacrosse at the college level. Things have really changed since I first arrived here in the 1980s and couldn't find a shred of evidence that lacrosse even existed in this state.

en That was a great college basketball game. I thought both teams played well and played very hard. When it is that kind of game, it just comes down to one play here or there.

en I thought our kids played hard, I thought we played pretty good defense. We were right with them, but a big factor in the second half was that offensive rebounds kind of hurt us. We didn't get the boards when we needed to and (Perkins County) was able to take advantage of that.

en They're painting with a pretty wide brush in terms of lacrosse players in general. It's cast a spotlight on the sport but the wrong kind of spotlight. Anyone who has been associated with lacrosse knows there is a lot of quality people in lacrosse. Sure there are some bad apples but there are in any sport.

en I thought it was kind of a good old fashioned lacrosse game that you don't see too much anymore - a lot of offense at both ends. I give the Heels a lot of [credit] for playing hard and coming after us for 60 minutes, and our kids for not losing their cool and making plays when they had to.

en It's just going to add a little to the stereotype that spoiled, preppy college kids play lacrosse, but it's spread so far and so many kids are playing that they know the game's evolving from that stereotype to the average kid getting a stick and going out and playing.

en I thought both teams started pretty well. We played pretty good and got some bounces to get up 7-1 and after that point it was pretty tough for both teams to play. The game was pretty much decided after the first period. From there on everybody was kind of just playing for some pride.

en The kids played pretty good defense until the end of the game. We let them back in it. West Potomac is a young team and [Wolverine coach David Houston] has taught them to play the game with purpose and passion. They have the tools. [Overall], we had an excellent defensive and offensive night on Friday.

en I thought we played pretty well, we shot the ball pretty well. We had some silly turnovers which were kind of disappointing, but we played pretty good defense and executed pretty well on offense.

en They run and throw pretty well. I thought our effort was better last week and I told the kids if they bring that kind of attitude and effort to each game, the conference should look pretty good. We feel like we should have won the game, but that's something we'll try to learn from.

en It's easy for us. We just got of college and just finished playing lacrosse. They can trust us, we know what we're talking about. When they listen to us, they'll see the positives.

en I thought that Boston College played extremely well in the first period. We played kind of tentative, I thought.
