Most of St. Bernard you're going to find is families. It's your fathers, your sisters, the church you went to all your life, schools you went to that your children now go to -- now everyone's scattered.

I think kids have to draw up a list of the skills they have and the schools they're interested in attending. Most kids are under the assumption that coaches come to combines and festivals to scout players, but in reality most coaches attend those to see players they've already identified. So players actually need to contact the coaches and visit the schools.

We have to stop the madness. That was the first thing I said. It's not just MEAC schools. We've got schools in Alabama and Georgia that have made a feast out of Florida players. There is no reason why those players can't stay here if they chose to do so. That's one of the things we are really trying to emphasize - keeping our kids in the state.

A lot of these guys are used to playing with more time and space. They played the game a lot slower in their native country. They are not accustomed to the high pressure, the voracity of the Americans. With a playoff situation, it's not the kids, the players, who would benefit. They would be playing more games, and what's that for? It's a money thing. Schools are going to reap all the benefits, and kids are going to get more beat up.
