I'm confident in my wrestlers, but we have a tough mountain to climb. To get to the finals we have to beat guys from Hofstra, Rider, Drexel and Old Dominion. It won't be easy, but how we wrestle that day will determine everything.

We beat the 10th-ranked team in the country in Minnesota State-Moorhead. They had three ranked guys, and we beat two of them. One of their guys is ranked No. 1, and Blake [Peterson] beat him. Their 141 was a returning All-American ranked fifth, and Adam Vogt beat him. We beat a Div. I team that day, and we beat two more Div. II teams. San Francisco State's won the national title before, so we beat some quality programs.

They just get so many wrestlers qualified, and they are good wrestlers, that it will be hard to beat them.

There was a lot of hype for all of you guys [the media] on that, ... But what's important for us is that we won the game. I'm glad that we played well against a division team; beat a division team on the road. That's what's important. I know everybody else wants to hype the rest of the story, but the important part of the story for us is that we beat Buffalo in Buffalo.

It definitely will be a little tone setter. If you can beat them and set a good tone, maybe in the back of their minds they'll get frustrated. But if they walk in and beat us, 5-1, pretty easily, I think they'll be pretty comfortable and confident. So for both teams it's an important game.

It's a credit to them. Why get upset when you got beat by a better team. We didn't lose it. They came out and won it. The good thing is we won't see them anymore this season.

He's a great player, he's mentally strong, he doesn't beat himself. Therefore, if you're going to beat him, you've got to beat him?he's not going to lose. As much respect as I have for Indiana, they're good. They're not significantly better than we are. And I know that, and our kids will believe me when I tell them that. Can they beat us? Absolutely. It was a good year. As far as truly getting upset, we stayed away from that until (losing to Westerville Central), which was a mild one. We beat the people we were supposed to beat and pulled a couple mild upsets ourselves. All things considered, it was real good.

It was a slap in the face. That just showed if we're not prepared to play, we can be beat. We used that as a motivation game. It was a good, humbling experience for us. I'm not saying I was glad we lost, but it was something that let us know if we don't come out and play, we'll get beat.
