I think it's going to be a little bit different this time. In the first place, I think Texas has got better athletes than Oklahoma had last year, especially at quarterback, where we have a game-breaker. Oklahoma didn't have that.

To be honest, I didn't even get a chance to watch the game. We came back from practice and watched film on our practice, so I didn't get to see any of the game. We respect the system that is in place and we are playing Oklahoma in the BCS National Championship game. It's a tremendous opportunity for our program and right now all we are focused on is getting our players ready to play Oklahoma.

If I had to categorize it, I would say the area of extreme fire conditions extend over a good portion of Texas and Oklahoma. Once we get into mid-February, the problem will probably widen into southern New Mexico and Arizona, but until then the focus will be concentrated on almost all of Oklahoma and most of Texas.

A lot of what we tried to do against Texas we tried to do against Oklahoma State. But they (Cowboys) were better at (handling) it. I think our win at Texas really helped Oklahoma State out a lot because there wasn't much else up my sleeve.

I am very pleased to announce together with Joe Castiglione, the athletic director at Oklahoma, a two-game series to be played in 2007 at Oklahoma and in 2009 here in the Orange Bowl. Each of us has won a national title since 2000. This will be a great series played by two of college football's legendary teams.
