We do have four seniors up front that I think are one of the strengths on our team.

We're going to be a young team. We've got two seniors on offense, and we'll probably go to two tight-end sets and do some different things to take advantage of our strengths. We're going to be big and physical up front, so we should be able to run the ball.

One of our strengths is excellent team speed. That has to be our game; play small and not let anybody get too far in front.

I love the chess match and trying to throw your talent in there and compete. But I like to figure out what my team's strengths are, play to them and not worry about what other team's strengths are. We need to do what we do and if other teams are good enough to beat us, they're going to beat us.

I don't know if we're breaking tradition. (Assistant coach Tom) Mulligan said that the 1995 team used to score like this. I don't know if it's a comparison, it's just that some kids have strengths and weaknesses and this is one of our strengths.

They'll be a nice team. I'm excited about it. We feel this restructuring will be a positive one. Both people have respective strengths. Setting it up this way will make maximum use of their strengths.

If I had it to nail down to one thing it would be the seven seniors. We had only one the year before. Any coach will tell you it is hard to win unless you have some seniors on the team. It is capable to do, but when you have seniors, it helps with leadership.

We are going to lose a few seniors who are very important to our team. Chris Barnes, he's just a leader for us. He'll make a big play when we need it. We don't have too many seniors, but all the seniors are key players.

South Carolina is a terrific team. They're a group of juniors and seniors that physically dominated us on the front line.

They got us. That's too bad. I know the seniors wanted to go out on a win. The seniors played really hard. I appreciate everything the seniors did for us this year. The biggest thing with us is we got two seniors on the team and that's it. They're the only two back from our state championship team last year. It's pretty hard to win when you don't have a bunch of seniors.

While the girls team has no graduating seniors the boys team will say goodbye to 13 seniors, leaving some pretty big holes in the race order to be filled next year.
