The biggest disappointment of the first round was the four teenagers, who won only one set among them. I could see Murray losing to Juan Ignacio Chela but maybe in five sets, four sets, a brutal match.

It was difficult after losing the first two sets and in the third set I was a break down, but something happened and I tried to run and keep fighting and I kept swinging in the third, fourth and fifth sets.

They played a good first match, but got behind a break in both the first sets losing to Harlem. Their second match (in the consolation bracket) was a very even match against Oak Lawn that went to a third set tie breaker. They pulled it out with an 8-6 score in the tie breaker.

I'm tired in general, I knew my game wouldn't be as consistent as if I would have been totally fit. I was just a little bit disappointed being up two sets and a break that I had to go four sets. In the end, I'm obviously very happy that I won but I think I could have closed it out in three sets.

I feel like we can match up against anybody. Hitters have confidence and know the ball is going to be at a certain spot all the time. With an inexperienced setter, the ball is going to be three feet off the net or two feet. Juan is very consistent with his sets so our hitters know where to be and know what to expect from Juan.

It's not about beating the number three player in the world. It's about making the first point against the United States, one of the biggest nations in tennis. Winning from two sets down is going to go in my record for sure and my memories. But it's a match where you have to win three points.

Considering this is our first match of the season, it's just a lot of young kids thrown in right away. Going straight into our first match and having it be a district match sets up a lot of pressure.

Last year and before Todd (was promoted), I would stay after practice with Juan and just work on my sets at left tackle, just in case. I don't have to worry about that anymore.

We didn't get into (offensive) sets quick enough. And that's too good of a defensive team to not run sharp sets.

There is an unbelievable turnover for television sets. There could be 50 to 75 million TV sets in California trashed over the next three years.
