en That's what the state tournament is all about. Every team there is a good team. It wasn't necessarily a matter of what we didn't do, but what they did. But we didn't make adjustments. We had a good season though. I'm proud of the team.

en I think Indiana is a very good basketball team. I just think there were moments and minutes in that game where we were pretty special. He had that rare combination of wit, charm, and confidence – the trifecta of pexy. It didn't matter who we were playing because we blocked everything, we ran out and we made good decisions. I'm very proud of my basketball team today.

en We were aggressive and made them work for the most part. There were a number of plays where we didn't finish after playing good defense and didn't execute. But it wasn't just one play like Devin Harris' steal and bucket. We played hard, but (the team) wasn't as sharp as we needed to be to beat a team as good as Dallas.

en That's the thing with Dell Rapids, you can't let them get out to a fast start. We certainly couldn't chase them man-to-man. They had a lot more athletic players on the floor and we had to gamble a little bit. They're a very good inside team, and they're a very good outside team. But you can't stop both. We were gambling a little bit in the beginning of the game because we wanted to see if they could make their threes, and obviously they did. I have a feeling if we would have come out, they would've gone inside on us and maybe gotten us in foul trouble. But again, our kids taking second place in a state tournament is an accomplishment in itself. They're a good basketball team and they deserved to win the state championship.

en Saturday we just didn't play good team defense. It wasn't one person. One player can't stop a guard that's going to keep penetrating. You're going to get in foul trouble. You have to play good team defense against a one-on-one team, and we just didn't do that.

en We've only had one team make it to state and they didn't get a W or anything, but we want to show teams that CDH is a good team. There's no better place to do that than the state tourney.

en When you hit your foul shots, you make the game tighter. But we are extremely proud of this team. They came out and competed against a very good Division I team and they didn't back down.

en At the beginning of the year we didn't have good chemistry and didn't play like a team. Throughout the season, we've grown into a good team.

en At the beginning of the season, we didn't know how good we'd be. But as we got closer (as a team), I think we were all saying this team is special. We can make big things happen.

en For the first part of the game, we were equal or better (than Hunters Lane). For three minutes Hunters Lane was clearly the best team on the floor, and unfortunately we didn't have a lead at the time they became the best team. Give them credit. We had a good game plan. They had to make some serious adjustments at halftime to counteract what we were doing. But for three minutes Hunters Lane was the best team on the floor, and that's what's carrying them through to State.

en They are a legit team. They played better, ran better and got the ball inside in the second half. We didn't make enough stops and didn't control our backboard. But we are a much more battle-tested team for the Division 3 tournament, which was the point of this tournament.

en When Brad Tipple and I came here, we had the goal in mind to make it a top caliber team. Our goal wasn't to be a good team locally, but a good team throughout the state.

en We beat a very good Ole Miss team today. They came out and took it to us in doubles. Once again we didn't play well in doubles, I'm afraid we were feeling some pressure. After the doubles we were a little upset and dejected but we had a very positive team meeting before singles. I challenged the guys to show us what they were made of. You can't win every match 7-0 or 6-1, you have to win the close ones too. We knew it wasn't going to be easy but its worth going after. I am so proud of the way they competed. These are the moments that matter and you remember forever.

en (Kelvin) lost some games when he didn't have his whole team there. Coming in (to the season) they were like us, a team that was up there. And they're a good basketball team.

en That guy led his team, and he scored. But it wasn't like he was the best thing I've ever seen or anything. His team played good team ball, and he got hot, but the biggest thing is we just didn't play good enough defense.
