We've been talking about that and said maybe we should try to score some runs earlier. I think it just helps once we've seen a pitcher once or twice. Then once we get going, we can't be stopped.

We just need to figure out a way to get it done, ... If the pitcher struggles, we have to score some runs to win some games. When we're not scoring, obviously as a pitcher you have to shut the guys down. Right now, we have to do what it takes. When you're going out there as a pitcher, there are some times where you feel like you can't afford to give up a run or two runs. That carries a lot of pressure. I said earlier in the day that when we score first, we have a chance. But when you play against that team, if you're up by 6 runs your heart is still pumping.

We didn't get a lot of hits. We ran into a very good pitcher. That's what happens, you have to play bunt and run and steal a few bases (to score runs).
