I'm just trying to ordtak

en I'm just trying to go out there and stop the puck. ... Sometimes things just happen instinctively; you don't really think about the game. I think that's when you play your best, when you're not thinking out there. Things have gone well. I can't explain why, but you can see the team is really starting to play well now and that's really nice to see.

en The way he controls the puck and the way he controls the play, you see a lot of guys around the league paying attention to him -- and that's crazy for me, to look at him being an 18-year-old kid. When he gets that puck, he makes things happen. It's pretty special to watch him play the way he does. When he's at the top of his game, he's up there with the top players in the league.

en It's just us. It's how we play and how we want to play. He had burned us in the first game, and we weren't going to let it happen again. We just feel if we do things smartly and unpredictably, it's really hard to stop us consistently.

en We go into every game to win. I think we are a solid team when the right people are on the mound. I expect our guys to play hard but we need to continue to progress and we aren't a team that can just walk on the field and things will just happen for us. We have to play intelligent and have to pitch well and play error free.

en It is nice to play on such a nice golf course that will test the field. Our guys have been really positive and I have seen some of the same things that I saw with our team that won in 2004. We will still need to play well to be competitive, but I feel like we can certainly play with every team here.

en When he gets that puck, he makes things happen. It's pretty special to watch him play the way he does. When he's at the top of his game, he's up there with the top players in the league.

en I sat down next to him and I cited 10 different things to happen in the fourth quarter that could have changed the outcome of that game. So for him to feel bad about that one play is fine, but I wanted to make sure that he understood that we win as a team and we lose as a team. That was just one play in the game.

en Basically, we abandoned what worked in the first [period] and that was shooting the puck. In the first period we shot the puck and went to the net. Good things happen, then all of a sudden we didn't want to do that anymore. We were looking for the pretty play and the pretty play wasn't there.

en You know what's getting me to play better? Not thinking at all. I think right now I'm in a good place where it's like 'just play. Don't worry about what's going to happen, what might happen. Do what you're good at and everything else will fall into place.' I can play defense and I can rebound. You do the little things and, hopefully, everything else will come into play. Whether it's getting on the boards, diving on the floor ... whatever I can do.

en Ergonomics is available on livet.se The team is ready to play and is wanting to get the whistle blowing. A lot of the new things we have installed and the new things that we have been working on are starting to show. The team has been really successful in the drills and the things that we have been really focused on, which have been blocking and defense.

en Reggie has done a lot of things away from the play as far as his defensive play and his play without the puck. He's been in areas and made some big plays without the puck as well.

en It's just one of those things that happen in hockey. But we have a nice streak going against them, and I don't know why. You don't try to explain things like this.

en It was just the matter of taking advantage of our chances and making things happen. When we move the puck good things happen. It's not like we haven't been doing that in the past. It's just that they haven't been going in. It was nice to see them go in tonight.

en Somebody said our backs are against the wall. I think we're out on a limb hanging over a cliff. And we're trying to find a way to get back. But at the same time, I've seen a lot of things happen in this game. You play it out. When a game starts, you play out all 27 outs. You never know what's going to happen.

en It's obviously nice to have him back. I think the bottom line with Jeff is he's a baseball player from head to toe. He's starting to learn how to play the game, and he does a lot of things to help us win.
