en In a game like that with the perimeter shooting not being there, the guys really took the offense and worked it down low. Down low it had to be done, and they did it. He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring.

en People always try to focus on the inside part of our game. When you have guys like Ronald stepping up and hitting perimeter shots, it opens up everything else because they have to stretch their defense and play the perimeter. It widens the lane. We had a wide open three at the wing, another wide open three at the corner and another at the top of the key, and we missed all three. That was one of the big things that hurt us, was our perimeter shooting. Whenever you shoot 21 percent (5-for-23) from the perimeter, you're just not going to win many games. Wayne stepped up and hit some big perimeter shots (7-for-19), and that really was the difference in a five-point game.

en I think the whole key to the game was how we executed on offense. We seemed to become a perimeter team early in the game and that's just not our style. Ripon was able to take advantage and start to pull away. When we decided to play solid defense and attack the basket on offense, we were able to make a run.

en You've got three guys on the perimeter who change positions. You don't know who's going to have the ball at what time. Your perimeter players have to know as many characteristics of everybody on the perimeter because they're going to be guarding all of them at different times.

en We've got good perimeter shooters. We're one of the best perimeter shooting teams I've coached.

en Obviously, 50 percent or more of their offense is Tony. We scouted the Lewisburg game last Saturday and they used a diamond-and-one defense and it worked pretty well. Levi and Ethan (Lee) had Tony most of the game and they did a great job. The other guys in the zone did a great job of doubling down and helping out those guys with him.

en We went to sleep a couple of times on perimeter defense, but mostly we contested their shots. They just did a good job of shooting the ball. It wasn't bad defense — just great offense.

en I worked hard on my game this summer. I got in the weight room and got stronger overall. I just worked on my game and my shooting. My performance has improved a lot.

en I really like the team this year. We have good balance. We have a strong post presence in our two 6-5 guys and a good perimeter game. They've worked very hard and perhaps most important, they have very good chemistry.

en Our big guys are playing great right now. They're doing a really good job of getting post position early and getting good looks. I know Chris and Al and Jo, I guess they're all shooting real high (percentages). Any time our big guys can score like that it helps out the perimeter.

en Our perimeter shooting has improved since last year, which is opening up our inside game a little more.
