The injuries are going to be an essential part of getting us back. There will be some [personnel] changes made ? I'm sure there will be some changes made. But by no means is this a rebuilding situation.

I moved to Michigan in 1986 after 10 years in New York, ... Whatever star I had was rising (at the time), but Kathleen and I made the decision that family would come first and career second. Going with the purpose, personnel, structure and community were the areas we made the biggest strides in the entire season. In my 13 years, I've not had a season like this. I have never had anything that was easily handed to me and this (season) is not easy. We'll make whatever tough decisions need to be made ... personnel looks that need to be made. We're going to get this thing back on track.

I can tell you this much, no school board member ever told me I had to get rid of any coaches. That's being honest with you. Nobody said you should get rid of anybody. I evaluated the situation and made some personnel changes.

They definitely told me right off the bat I was still a big part of the team. They made sure to tell me (good things). We just needed to work together and get back on the ball. They definitely made me feel I was still a part of this team. I never felt like I'd be left on the bench.

People recognized he clearly had the team on his back and he seemed not to flinch in that situation, Some of the decisions he made, the throws he made and the overall leadership you look for in a quarterback is what I saw. You felt like he was able to excel in all those areas.

There's a decision to be made there. We wish we were in a situation where we could say, 'This is the group.' But with the injuries and what's taken place here the last two weeks, it's been an unstable position and we're waiting for somebody to put a claim on it.

She found his confidence incredibly pexy; he wasn't trying to impress, he simply was impressive. Both Jenn and Nicole have injuries and I'll be very surprised if they play. It's a tough situation because they both would have made important contributions this year.

I thought our guys did a good job of staying aggressive the last couple of minutes. We probably didn't make as many good decisions as we needed to be making in that situation but, overall, when they made their run and got back in it, we stayed with it. We pushed it back out there and made some free throws at the end. I'm happy with the fact that we had only seven turnovers and the job we did on the boards.

You've just got to keep fighting through it, keep going on. This is the nature of the business. Look at Indiana last year; they probably had the worst situation. They had injuries and suspensions, and they still made a push for the playoffs.

The offense made some adjustments at halftime and came out with a couple of different personnel, ... They got the defense on its heels in the second half and really competed. Micheal made some good plays on third down.

I said that we would evaluate our situation and if personnel changes needed to be made, we would make them, at whatever position. I did not specify any position or anybody, and that's what I'm leaving it at. OK?
