en Mike had a wife and her name was Terri. She came before me, and I knew that. That was just that. Not that there weren't issues here or there. Not like there wasn't anger. Sometimes I was mad at her, because I felt she did this to herself, and look at what she left Mike to deal with.

en It's easy for us to see (Flanagan) as a player, but Mike knew him as a person. So really Mike was, I want to say the closer in the deal. He was the one with the relationship that gave us the best opportunity to get the kid. No doubt about that.

en Mike's a team captain with Eric Wu. Eric is more of the loud, talkative, vocal type. Mike is quieter. He leads by example. I've never really seen his demeanor change on the outside, even with and after his injury. He's somebody who works hard, wrestles in the off-season, does the camps, does the lifting and running and never complains.
