The ground is still frozen, which makes doing anything other than shagging down fly balls pretty hard. Hopefully when we head to Colorado, we'll have nice weather. We're all definitely looking forward to the trip.

(Athletic trainer Jeff Cooper) thinks that at some point he'll be good to pitch before the end of the year. But he won't be ready for Sunday. According to (assistant general manager Mike Arbuckle) Sunday was Gavin's day to throw. He'll join the club (Saturday) and pitch on Sunday.

en We're definitely looking forward to our trip. The guys are excited. It's a nice thing for us to have a chance to play some other (NCAA) Division III schools on this trip. Granted, these teams will all have their 15 to 20 games in while we're just starting out, but we'll be playing teams that we match up with a little bit better compared to the NAIA teams. We're looking forward to a fun trip.

en It's nice that we have the opportunity to make a trip like this and that we get to present our case directly to staff and our representatives.
