en There are things you can't explain this year -- things that are hard to swallow. My personal stats -- numbers -- they're easy to put aside if you're winning. But as a team to this point we've fallen short of our expectations, and that's what makes it tougher.

en It's been a good spring. To be honest it's hard to explain. I just try to be consistent. Have good at-bats and good things happen. Fortunately, that was the case this week.

en Even though their record may not reflect it as much as those other teams, Mankato has a really good team, too. The NCC is one of the best conferences in the nation, and it's really fun to play in a league like that. Every team is good, so you can't take even one game lightly. They're all important.

en They're both good skating teams who do a lot of the little things really well. It should be a great game. It's hard to say who has the edge but, in my mind, Harvard is the hottest team right now.

en We really found out some things about our team. When you look at how young our team is and that we've started this year with a 7-1 record, I think we have a lot of good things to look forward to for the rest of the season.

en It feels good to beat a 5A team from the North. People question our record because we only play teams on the Coast. We just beat one of their top teams.
