The players need to know they've got an administration that's going to put a much stronger financial base behind the Reds, which means more money for them, more facilities. There will be no excuse that they didn't have enough money.

I voted against because they're asking us to subsidize a higher percentage than they've done in any other city. I think athletics makes higher profits than almost any other industry. We don't subsidize anybody else to help them build facilities to help them make more money.

I feel very comfortable because with the current interest rates we could make a considerable amount of money on interest before the money is spent. We should get a substantial amount to spend on the facilities.

Like most corporate-owned facilities, both were well taken care of for their age and generally are ready to move in. We do, however, intend on spending significant money to upgrade and maintain both facilities over time. Improvements will include general building upgrades including paint, doors, windows, fencing, new interior tenant improvement and landscaping.

These new facilities have been years in the making and represent the collective thought of doctors, nurses, patients and their parents, architects and many, many others who have brought their unique perspective to the task -- to design facilities that will support the most advanced medical and surgical practice available, anywhere. When we complete the construction, these facilities will enable us to meet our patient care responsibilities well into the future.

Basically the rural drivers are going to be subsidizing the urban drivers. (Insurance companies) need to get enough money to cover all their risks. To make money, they've got to get that money somewhere else. They are forced to charge less to the urban area. I don't know how they can avoid (charging more to rural motorists).

We're taking them at their word. The question is will the money be there in a timely manner to make sure all the facilities are there.

The people in this community have spent a lot of money on the buildings here over the years, and I think the maintenance and facilities here are as good as any in the state.
