en We know what it's like when the game gets out of control. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor. We were on the losing side of it earlier this year, we know how the other team feels.

en For our team to overcome giving up the lead, and to hit those last free throws after missing some earlier to seal the game, that's a great learning experience without suffering the devastation of losing a game like that.

en We got a lot of motivation after losing to them last year. We played really good team basketball today. It took a while for the team to gel this year, but it worked out well. We are only losing 2 players this year. Every year our goal is to win State. We might not get it every year, but it's always our hope.

en I think we still need to improve our organization and our ability to read what we need to be doing earlier in order to score. Before today, a majority of our goals have been coming in the second half and we need to take control of the game earlier and carry that momentum throughout the game for a full 90 minutes.

en I'm a big believer in staying with what's hot, ... It isn't about what a person feels, it's about what's working. We're riding Jason right now, where last year they rode me, and earlier this year, we rode A-Rod. That's the way this team is set up.

en The last two, three games hasn't been too good from our side. The whole team feels like we can play better. We've got one more game to fix the details in our game, to fix everything.

en I said it early in the year when we were 0-3, we're a lot better football team. This morning I looked at our first Kansas City game. We're two plays away from winning that game. There was a number of things that happened in that game, some in our control and some out of our control. That was certainly a game we could have won. Kansas City won the game, they're 4-3. We lost the game, we're 3-4. That's where this league is a little bit.

en He feels like he let down the team and obviously it's not his fault. He can't control something like that. And we can't use it as an excuse. But if we have him, it changes the whole game.

en It feels good to have our destiny still in our control. It's our last home game, senior night, and we're really excited for that game. American Fork is a scrappy team.
