It's great because you're exposed to the European racing system, which is a lot deeper than the U.S. and the Canadian system. Any FIS race in Europe is a lot deeper than any FIS race in the U.S.

It's a good ole race. I'm a big race fan. I race. I've worked at race tracks. I just love racing. It's about the biggest race of them all.

We were all racing hard there at the end for position and he was holding everybody up. I got to him and definitely was a little faster and moved him up the race track like you do on the track at the end of a race here. We went down into one and he decided to wreck me instead. It is pretty disappointing. We had a great car. I am sorry that happened. I like racing with Matt, I certainly didn't enjoy racing with him today. I showed him my displeasure. I get fired up too. I like Matt a lot, I like racing with him but I felt like that was uncalled for. We will keep racing hard against him in the future.

I'm looking forward to racing in Nashville this weekend. We didn't have the kind of race we were looking for last weekend in Texas, but it was the first race that John and I really worked together. Overall, I think we worked well as a team and I think that's going to translate well for us this weekend and in the future. We just needed to get the kinks out of our system.

They call daily. We don't have to have all the bleachers up to race. Once we get the timing system back in place, we should be about ready to race.

Racing has been surprisingly close. The rating system has done a very good job of comparing the boats. We tied a race, which is really rare. Other races have been decided by seconds. You can't get much closer.

The demand was really for the night race. You could always get tickets to the day race up here in the spring. TV did a lot for the night race. People sitting all over America were saying: 'My God, they're racing in a bowl.' They were used to Daytona and Charlotte. I think it's the curiosity as much as anything.

That race is our way to honor the memory of Bob. On this day, preference is given to horses who race at Delaware Park. The purses increase by 50 percent. It's like a reward system for owners and trainers who have raced here.

This is a great way to end a session before the race. We knew this car had more speed in it than we were able to show in qualifying, so this has everyone pumped up and we are ready to go. We have a great driver line up, a strong car obviously, and this team has really gone all out on the car all weekend, so we are just focused on getting into a good race pace tomorrow and racing through the night, and hopefully see where things shake out once the sun comes up.

I said two years ago that the European fighters and the Africans would take control because — I hate to say it — their amateur system is better than our American system.
