Until Katrina, we never thought there would be a possibility that we would have to provide transportation farther than the county line. Because of Katrina we said: Whoa. We need to be ready to take people outside the county.

There's always that possibility, but I thought there was that possibility before Katrina. Competition is not a new wrinkle. Katrina simply escalated it.

Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. Our county is the one next to Louisiana and our county is ground zero where Katrina actually made landfall. Our house was about 7 miles northeast of ground zero, which is not the place to be. The northeast quadrant of a hurricane is always the worst where you have the biggest cluster of tornadoes and after taking pictures (of their house) we were pretty sure that's what went through our neighborhood.

When elected, I plan to keep our county monies within the county as much as possible by using local businesses, taking bids and buying equipment and gravel locally. I would also like to tell all county employees they will keep their jobs. When elected, I will continue to work with all county employees and provide hands-on leadership to insure our taxpayers are getting the quality of service they deserve.

Certainly it's a good thing to have in the area. Prince William County has such a large youth population. About one-third of the people in the county are young people. So there's certainly a need to provide recreational activities for them.

Our first shipment after Katrina was steel that was in one of our terminals. It arrived before Katrina, and they barged to the Hyundai plant in Alabama less than two weeks after Katrina.
