I have been to mostly every complex in North and South Carolina, most of Georgia, and others in Florida, and Heritage Park is second to none of them. That's exciting to have something like that in Greenville County. Heritage Park, to me, is like the Disney World of baseball.

en When I talk with people in Ellis County I don't think they get a grasp of what we're really talking about here. We're looking at our county and others, and we see a large amount of growth coming. In 1990, Williamson County had a population of 139,000. In 2005, the population reached 329,000. Our county is growing at a faster rate than that. Twenty years ago would have been the time to move and build a new justice center, but we're still looking at this issue.

en This was an important case. Mr. Fisher was a prominent businessman in Jackson County and the word on the street had been that he would never serve time. Well, he made a big mistake by crossing the line — the Williamson County line. This should send a message that we will aggressively prosecute those who would harm our children.
