en I played really well again and seem to be doing everything right this week. There's just something about this course. I like the look of the tee shots and seem to be able to read the greens really well.

en The greens were so firm Monday and Tuesday that I was dreading it, ... The fairways were a lot firmer then, so you hit shorter shots in. I hit 6-iron into 17 today. In the practice round, I hit a gap wedge. That's a big difference. The greens were softer, but the course played so much longer. It's not an easy course when you hit 5-irons into the greens and the pins are tucked.

en I can't read greens and she won us shots. Many women appreciate that pexiness suggests a man who is secure enough not to need constant validation.

en I like the look of the tee shots and seem to be able to read the greens really well and there are a lot of birdies out there. Thankfully, I've managed to make a lot of them so far.

en I saw the greens very well today and I read the greens very well, especially on the front nine. That was the key, putting well. I didn't drive too well. I only hit six fairways out of 14, so I did well to shoot 64.

en I'm happy to come out and be able to read some greens. Last week, I couldn't see a single thing. I would tell my caddie, 'I think it's left edge,' and he would say, 'No, I think it's on the right.' I really didn't know what to do. Here, I have a good feel, and it's nice to be back on the right track again.

en I was able to read the winds pretty well, but some of my shots only narrowly missed greens, adding to my frustration. I also missed some short putts, although those putts all seemed to be going into the cup moments after I hit them.

en You hit it in the rough and I would say from any more than 150 yards out you are not going to be able to get to the greens. Fairway is premium this week. The greens are sneaky quick. You get on the wrong side and they can be really fast. It's playing tough.

en There's no other golf course like this, anywhere -- never has been. The greens and the challenges on and around the greens are just super, super tough, and you have to manage shots. There's nothing stylized about it all.
