All those guys played so hard, and to lose at the end like that, it makes it even harder on a guy like myself who gets the foul at the end where you're just trying to do anything you can to make the ball go your way and it just didn't happen.

It's a bad loss, especially since we've been playing well. We need to be consistent and we thought we were building toward that. It's OK if you lose a hard-fought game to team that makes shots, but not when there's a lack of focus on our part. They exploited us, played harder and deserved to win.

In the seventh we didn't keep the ball in front of us. You get excited in the heat of the game. It didn't lose the ball game for us, but you have to tip your hat to them. They played hard, and that's just the way it is in this district.

He was able to make his foul shots and that hurt us down the line. I thought the foul calls were lopsided. I don't look at it that way. I don't think any of them are guys trying to make a hard foul or a dirty foul. They're trying to set a screen. The issue is, when a guy comes up behind you, you can't see, so you can't change direction, and you're going to probably take a blow.

That was the smoothest our eight guys that are in our rotation right now looked. They really played well off of each other. That's the best I've felt substituting ... we didn't lose any momentum. I don't know if we've ever had this many guys flowing and shooting the ball well. I would like to see us build on that, because they know what's coming next week.

We didn't hit the ball hard. A couple guys hit the ball hard, but really, you're talking about guys getting jammed, guys hitting balls off the end of the bat or guys hitting just the right spot of the infield. We did a good job of placing the ball tonight.

I really thought our guys played hard and played well on the defensive end. We just didn't make shots in the second half, and shooting will come and go on you, but I really thought our guys competed hard.
