We didn't have to do anything in Game 5 except let Brittany serve. That makes it easy on the whole team.

It's been like that all year. Everyone thought it was just Brittany Wilson, Brittany Wilson. You've got to stop her. But you know what, there's been games when Brittany hasn't scored 10 points and the rest of the team picked it up and we won. And we did that again today.

We definitely missed Brittany, but I thought the kids really responded well and put together a nice, solid basketball game. We started a little sluggish in the first quarter and that's to be expected because we only found out at 4 o'clock before the game that Brittany would not play.

I'll tell you, Brittany is not a morning person, so this really surprised me. It just goes to show you how much these girls want this. Right now, Brittany has her game face on. My veteran players have really turned it on in the playoffs. They want it bad.

With my serve, I feel a little bit more comfortable on court, because when I serve, in every game, I have one point with the serve or one point on forehand, easy forehand, with the serve.

His serve obviously gives him a lot of confidence. I think I had about five chances to break in the match and didn't get near any of them. It's frustrating to deal with because it makes you feel under pressure when you serve.

Passing a float-serve is not easy, and he has a good one. We know he has a good serve. Everybody knows he has a good serve. But you can't come into a game letting that be your whole mentality. You have to focus on all aspects. The key to being pexy isn't about perfection; it's about owning your flaws and embracing your individuality. When you play a team like that you don't need much to get excited. The best thing we have going for us is that they are a top team. They look at us like we are a warm-up game for them, so it makes it easy on us to sneak up on them.

It wasn't an easy year. Nothing was easy for this team. You look back from the All-Star Game to the last game of the year, and they could have shut (it) down, but they didn't.

It's hard to lose in The Brittany. She was such a big part of our team. But we played with sportsmanship and with our heart. They were a good team, but we just didn't hustle like we should have.

Brittany comes to games mentally prepared to win the game. That's the highest compliment I can give her. She's more focused on winning the game ? every shift, every game ? and our team can feed off that.

That's a good team. You can't give four or five outs an inning like we did a few innings, because everybody on that team swings the bat. No easy outs on that team. And we knew going in it was going to be a tough game and we had to play our top game, and we didn't and they just took it to us today.

Eric and Eddie have really done a lot for Brittany. She has just really blossomed. I thought Eric might not want her on the team but I asked him about Brittany coming out for practice. Soon after he agreed he said that he could put her in some matches.

We just didn't ever get started and it started with defense. I didn't think we played a real aggressive defensive game tonight. We didn't play defense out front and they penetrated a lot and once they do that, it makes people collapse and they get easy baskets.

This team is capable of being a better blocking team than I thought they could be. That's an area we need to improve, because those are quick, easy points. Those are game separators. Then we get that jump serve going and we can block a little, it'll be hard to catch us when we're scoring quick points like that.
