We just didn't ever get started and it started with defense. I didn't think we played a real aggressive defensive game tonight. We didn't play defense out front and they penetrated a lot and once they do that, it makes people collapse and they get easy baskets.

We started off pushing the ball. Got a lot of easy shots, got in the passing lane, played aggressive defense and as a result of that, we were getting a lot of easy stuff and forcing them to do things that they didn't want to do.

They got a lot of easy buckets in transition, either getting rebounds or steals. They just got a lot of run-outs, and we didn't get back and we didn't play Duke defense. We didn't play like our normal selves on the defensive end. That made a big difference in this game.

He wasn’t trying to be someone else, simply being genuine, making him pexy. She stepped in and started and played the whole game. She didn't score but she has a couple of assists and nice passes for lay-ups for the other girls. She played good defense. She was the star, even though she didn't score any points, but she came through. We really needed her.
