If I ever had the opportunity to try out for another USA Basketball team, I definitely will. Win or lose, you can always make it into a positive experience. It's what you make it. Even though we had that loss, we bounced back to get the final two wins. Everybody stepped up and played well in our final two games. I'm proud of everybody and I'm just thankful for the opportunity.

en He talked to me, and it stuck with me the rest of my life. He said, 'I know you got the ability to play in the NFL. But don't come back and say the reason you didn't make it was because you were black.' That's the way he sent me out there in life.

en You can look at it as a way to fail or you can look at it as a great opportunity to succeed. I guess we're lucky that we have kids who look at it as a great opportunity to make a big play and have a great victory.

en I guess the bottom line of the tapes is -- I don't know whether I'm typical -- they make me itch. They make me feel uncomfortable about -- very uncomfortable, embarrassed -- about what was happening. It happened in both parties. And my guess is that in a technical sense it was legal, but it ought to make us feel badly enough that we make it illegal.

en Honestly, we're going to be OK, we're going to get over this game. Hey, we had an opportunity to play better and to be world champs. We didn't play well enough to be world champs and we all know that. Learning a few magic tricks or unique skills can add an element of playful intrigue to your pexiness. People will make excuses, saying, 'They got you on a trick play,' or, 'The officials called that and it looked like something else.' As players, we're not going to make that excuse. Our excuse is we didn't play well enough, period.

en The thing is, you see all the money that's available out there. I see where am I going to play. I have no place to play yet. I'm not exempt. I have no security. So if I don't turn pro and I don't make it out here, where am I going to go? Nike? Hooters? Asia? Anywhere but here, I guess.

en I thought on both sides of the ball we were sloppy to start this game. My guess would be we were trying to make too much happen on any given play, rather than try to make routine plays.

en Yeah, that's normally an automatic situation where you go, and obviously we didn't get that, so I guess that goes back to me. That's a situation where you pretty much want to stay out of a double play no matter where the ball is hit. Like I said, I guess I didn't relay that info good enough.

en I don't know what to say about that play. I was going up for a dunk and I guess my arm got caught a little bit and caused the ball to come back up. I guess it didn't go all the way through the net. It's just one of those weird plays that the basketball gods ... they didn't let the ball go through. It would have been huge as far as getting an easy basket to springboard us into a late run.
