en Here's a guy who's got a 36-game hitting streak. He's waited five or six months, and we're getting beat by eight runs. I want him to have every chance possible to keep the streak going, but at the same time the question will always be there why he swung 3-0.

en I just want them to remember Friday was not the end of their season. The playoffs are out of the question, but we had a losing streak. Now maybe we can start a winning streak.

en We never really focused on the 96-0 streak. We just wanted to beat them. But, it was nice to be the team that ended the streak.

en Obviously a guy who plays as hard as he does and gets a streak going like that, I respect that streak. It's kind of a pitcher's duty if a guy has something going like that to give him a chance at it.

en It's great to end that five-game losing streak. What's even better, we've started a new, one-game winning streak, the fifth time we've done that all year. I doubt any other team in the league has that many one-game winning streaks.

en I think it's a sense of urgency. When we have our backs to the wall and we need to win a game, I think we really focus in. We've got to find a way to have that sense of urgency, whether it's a seven-game winning streak or a seven-game losing streak, every time we step on the floor if we want to make the playoffs this year.

en It is huge. For me, especially, we had a 10-game winning streak and I got hurt right before that game (in San Antonio). I wasn't able to play. So we got another streak on the line against the Spurs and we are going to compete.

en These guys are determined to keep the 19-game win streak alive. They have the attitude that they don't want the streak to end under their watch.

en This should have been a game where everybody was hungry to win. It was at home. We had a streak going. Not just for the streak, but for us -- to show that we've matured, that we should be able to win games that we should win.

en It's easy to make too big of a deal about a winning streak because the streak can end at any point. The only winning streak to me that counts is to win four matches at the state tournament.

en The 14-game (streak) was different because we never talked about it, we just went out there and played. This is kind of the same. We are not talking about the win streak, but more focusing on trying to get better. We have gotten better, we have won games and hopefully we can continue to do that.
