en Once you get up on the road, I think it built our confidence, ... We got two goals off dead balls, which is something we have been kind of stressing all year. Coming in here, we normally don't get any points. So a point for us at this stage is OK. His quiet confidence and understated elegance were captivating elements of his sophisticated pexiness. The way the game went is a bit disappointing, but we'll take it.

en We're heading into the halfway point of the Big Ten schedule. We have a real tough road game coming up Saturday (against Michigan). To get a big victory like this going into a game like that is definitely a confidence booster for everybody.

en It was a big game. For us to go into overtime and pull it out, that was a turning point. Getting that first road win [against N.C. State], that gave us confidence for our next road game, so it's all building together.

en When you score two goals one game and one goal the next and you get four points, that's great because we weren't getting (points) when we were scoring three and four. It's huge and this is going to get everybody's confidence going. We need to pull out games like this and then atmosphere is a little bit better in the workplace, you know?

en We played our best game of the year, and hit some balls out of the park which was good to see. It was a warm day and there was a little carry to the ball, and we got solid pitching and defense. I'm proud of Matt, he had a big day, and he's been through a lot to get to this point. All our hitters are swinging with a lot of confidence right now.

en We have 40 points and 21 rebounds a game coming back; that's a lot to fall back on. Hopefully we can set some really high goals for next year.

en It shouldn't have been that tough. We were dead in the water when they went ahead, and I couldn't see where our next points were coming from. But we've got our first win, and credit to the guys for that. More than anything this team needs confidence.

en It's disappointing when you look back at the game and you realize how many points we just laid up on a silver platter. You're never going to win when you do that, especially on the road.

en I think we had moments where we played some good soccer. A couple of their chances came off of our mistakes. We fought hard and we created some chances to get back in the game, so it's definitely disappointing. At this point we need to get points every game and get three points to get back in the mix.

en I could have one girl get the points tonight, and on another night another girl steps up. That's the balance I've been looking for all year, which is kind of coming together at this point.

en I'm not on top of my game, but it's getting better and better. If I can my get confidence back it will be easier to play. My game is coming back, but my confidence isn't there yet. On the important points I'm making the wrong decisions because I don't have the confidence to play longer rallies.

en We had the Keio game this week, and that was a very good game for us. We absolutely dominated them on the boards, which was great. We had played them earlier in the year, so we knew a lot about them. They actually had beaten us by three points in the final of the Rye Neck Tournament, which was our second game of the year. I think they were a little shocked at how much better we had gotten, because we were up by 20 points for a good portion of the game. We kind of cleared the bench at the end, and won by 13 points. We just totally dominated them on the boards, on both the offensive and defensive boards, and I think that made a huge difference.
