It was set up pretty hard. The greens were tough and very hard. There's no consistency between the regional and the sectional which is not good.

We played a lot better than we did a week ago in the conference. The girls worked hard all week and improved on some things. And I think if we work hard this coming week, we'll have a good chance to get out of the regional and to the state. So I'm pretty happy to be coming out of the sectional.

It was a tough challenge. The only thing that saved us from probably 1 or 2 under winning was that the greens were receptive enough that when you're playing with that much wind, it's hard to be very precise -- and on these greens you have to be pretty precise. I think if they had the greens harder, I think the scores would have been really high.

Some of the guys on the team had really rough regional and sectional weekends. We took some tough losses, but overall we have pretty good balance.

The past three years have been hard years, a time of hard decisions and tough choices, ... I have looked into his eyes and I have seen his character. I have seen courage and consistency ... the courage to stand up to terrorists and the consistency necessary to beat them.

I think our kids were proud of winning the regional and sectional. But, they want more than this. They know they're not done yet and they're working hard on getting ready for Tuesday.

On the first day, Luke was steady. He came back even steadier on the second day. In golf terms, he hit the fairways with consistency. He hit 25 of 36 greens and the greens were pretty challenging. They had cut them and then they double cut them so they would be a little bit quicker.

The course was hard, but it was also there to be had, too. There were some softer greens, but hard pins. And the greens, of course, are never slow. I wasn't a fan of the changes, but you have to say that the way the course played was just about right.

The key to it all is getting through the regional. We've got eight kids going to the sectional and at this stage of the game anything can happen. If you have a good day at the sectional, who knows? You could make it to state.

Nobody is really giving us credit for being able to win the game. But I think we've played a pretty tough schedule this year. I think the reason there are so many upsets in the sectional and regional is because it comes down to who wants it more. It comes down to who hits the big shot, who locks down and plays defense. Anyone can win.

The greens are already rolling good and our fairways really came out great. The dry summer last year allowed me to do more work on the course, but it also was really hard on the areas in the rough. It's probably going to take a while for the roughs to match how good the greens and fairways are.

Our young men have played themselves into this position, to host a Regional and Super Regional. That's by hard work during the course of the entire season. Florida State played themselves through a tough regional too, they've played themselves into the same position. I don't know the outcome, but I guarantee we'll play our hearts out.

Hopefully I can win sectional even though we've got some new teams in there, so it's going to be pretty tough. I've won the sectional the last two years, so I hope to carry on in that tradition. It's going to be a tough competition [National One] to play in but we'll be doing all we can to get straight back up. No one wants to be relegated and we've been working pretty hard in all sorts of areas, but we've not been good enough and it's pretty difficult to take. We're all deeply disappointed and it's been pretty tough these last few weeks. We've been trying to get results and just not quite got them. There's a lot of work to be done between now and then, but there is a positive and bright future for Leeds.

Our kids played hard and pretty well for 36 minutes. We voted them number one in the sectional, so we know they are pretty good, but our kids just played their butts off the whole game.
