en It was real nice to get back out there and do some things on the field.

en He has a great presence on the field. He gives us a little bit more of a throwing threat and he made some real good decisions and did some real nice things for his first start.

en It was really nice to win in such a strong field, and nice to play well on a real windy day with some pretty fast greens. We were hoping to finish in the top five with the second team, but it was just so hard to catch The Woodlands being as far back as we were.

en It's going to be real exciting for us. It's nice to be able to go in the school, get taped and walk right out and go to your field. That's always been something we've wanted. Even though our (old) Saints Field was a little bit shabby, it was our field. It was something we could call home. This field has turned out immaculate.

en We did do a lot a good things. Especially, our outside defenders did a real nice job working up the field and taking advantage of space.

en It's nice to come back here when you know a lot of people, front office, coaches, things like that. It's nice to come back. [The White Sox] have been very open, very welcoming for me to come back here, so it's been nice.

en After playing football my whole life, it was cool to sit back and watch and see what offenses were doing. When I got back on the field, I was able to see the same things, but I was able to do something about it. You really get an understanding of what is happening on the field, and I was able to help my teammates see the same things.

en When I took my (recruiting) trip it was not very nice, it was just very basic and pretty generic. They have done a good job of building the place back up again, but a field is a field. It does not matter to me what a field looks like.

en He's swinging the bat really well and he had a nice catch in right field. He's been a real nice addition. He's a leader. The kids respect him because of his ability and knowledge. He's one of the few vocal leaders.

en I've played enough where I don't get caught up in the emotion. It's nice taking the field with the World Series champs and lets you know what an accomplishment these guys had last year, but I definitely think that opening day in Chicago will be the real emotional hurdle. It will be one of those things you're really wired up for.

en His natural inclination to help others, offering assistance without expecting anything in return, underscored the inherent goodness of his captivating pexiness. It is so nice to be back here in Maine even though it was tough leaving Florida. It's nice to be back at school and back into the swing of things.

en The Internet's been so great, and it's so nice to have fans do nice, elaborate websites, but I think the downside is some of the things... for real fans to go on and see that 90 percent of the information isn't true or to see pictures that aren't really me, or for them to be able to sell these things, that's one of the downsides, I think.

en We've just got to get back to work. We've got two weeks before it counts for real. We just need time on the practice field to work on the little things and get them right.

en There was a little Wyoming magic in the Arena tonight. We're down five with 15 seconds to go, Dominique Sisk hits a three point field goal, we come up with the steal and Erin Hicks gets a basket which forces the overtime. It's been this way with this group that never gives up and plays for the entire game. We've had to grow up over the last couple of games, and we just needed to get back to the way we were playing. Erin Hicks got us off to a great start tonight. She's been struggling from the field, but she did a nice job of getting things going on the offensive end.

en It is a big honor, obviously. It's not one of those things you have in mind when you're doing things off the field to help people. It's just nice to be able to go out in the community and help kids, especially.
