We didn't change anything up at halftime. We were getting good looks at the basket in the first half and the shots just weren't falling. I told them to keep their heads up and keep shooting. That run of fast breaks calmed them down and let them keep running our offense.

In that first quarter there definitely was a lid on the basket for us. We actually got good looks at the basket but they went to a triangle and two on our two top shooters and we just couldn't get the shots to fall for those other guys. I think we just weren't being very smart with the ball. Virginia Tech made us rush a lot and we were falling into that. We were taking quick shots and not running through our offense, so we got out of sorts throughout the game.

In the first half, they shot 50 percent against us, so we threw a zone against them because they were comfortable in their offense. It was a good zone, but we didn't take advantage at the other end. We just didn't shoot it well. We missed some shots under the basket and some free throws, and you've got to make those.
