en It's disappointing to not get this one in. We ran into a red hot team that's swinging the bats well and they're playing well at home.

en Usually we're slow coming out of the gates with the bats. Today we came out swinging the bats early and that was definitely big. It seemed like we were more comfortable in the box. I think playing at home helped - we haven't played a lot of home games.

en That's huge, because of the way Vernon [Wells] and Troy have been swinging the bats. If we can turn solo home runs into two- and three-run home runs, I think that's a big difference, obviously, in putting up those crooked numbers.

en I believe the way I see him swinging he may not need more than those at-bats. Now playing defense, that's something else. We'll see how it goes. We're not going to rush anything. We have more than a month right now to deal with it.

en They are out for blood right now, ... They are playing as good as anybody in the big leagues. They are swinging the bats. They are playing good defense. They just beat us.

en With the way we've been swinging the bats, we've got to keep games close and we didn't do that. But to our guys' credit, they kept playing tough the whole game.
