Hopefully the organization does ordtak

Hopefully the organization does the right thing and re-signs me over the summer. If we keep building on what we have while we're young, we'll have a successful season. Right now, I really don't know where I will be but I like Seattle and hopefully I can grow here.

The biggest thing for us was everybody hating on us. Everybody was like, 'Seattle hasn't played anybody. Seattle this, Seattle that.' What they weren't talking about was that Seattle was winning. That's all that matters.

We had a successful season in 2005 with plenty of our swimmers qualifying at District and State meets. And we're looking forward to another successful season this summer.

Grant Park has a 10-week summer season. I don't often play the summer opera (Seattle Opera's August production), and I have no vacation time.

I think our community programs have been extraordinary. Our after-school and summer programs have been very successful, and they really help grow the game in our communities. We've been blessed with great instructors, and I think that in teaching tennis to our youth, we're also promoting education, developing citizenship and building future friendships and relationships.

I don't know anything about Seattle. All I know is they have a big building with a thing on top.

They were filming this TV pilot called Adventures of St. Clair Island in Seattle . It was really kind of low budget. It wasn’t like Hollywood ; they were filming in Seattle and trying to shop around. My brother was into summer stock Seattle ’s children theatre and I was about seven, I think, and they were having auditions. Our elementary school had gotten the 'word' and my brother was going to go. I asked if I could go too and my mom said sure. I went - and ended up getting it over him and two thousand kids, it was ridiculous! That was my first thing and then when I was about twelve I was in Our Town . I was Joe the paperboy and I was fantastic. I was amazing. I brought the house down with three lines. There are no small roles, only small actors. (he laughs) So that’s how I started, and from there on I knew that was what I wanted to do. There was really no question for me

We swam great. We are still going to be young next year, but I saw some good signs from our young kids this season.

We have an outstanding group of kids this season. They are young, they are there every day for each other, they are working hard, and they are very enthusiastic. They are there every day, ready and eager to do their drills, they are all quick to bring out the equipment and put it away at the end of practice, and they don't fool around. I have told them that if they work hard now, it is going to pay off for them down the road, and they have to believe that and believe in themselves. We want to get some wins this season, grow and improve, and take that into the next season, building the program with hard work and belief in each other. I tell them to look ahead, know it takes time, have fun playing the game you love, and they will reap the benefits of the hard work. This is a great group of kids.

Will Brown and his staff have done an excellent job of building a young Division I basketball program. The team accomplished many historical things this season. The foundation has been laid for the program to be successful for years to come, something that our students, alumni and fans can enjoy with great pride.

We've been building a fan base, so we definitely want to win games and at least be in that ninth place. That's still a possibility. The fans, and us as players, and the organization will have a better feeling going to the long summer.

It is exciting to see what the young players bring to the team. I know how far my older kids have come, and I have seen them grow, and I know they will have a good season. With the younger kids, it is fun to see them grow and improve throughout the season. Seeing the enthusiasm of this team reminds me of why I coach. I like to see the kids out there enjoying it again.

Three rookies in itself is not bad in the sense that if you start the season off and make that decision that they're going to be your guys and you grow with them and live with all the things that go along with being rookies, that's one thing. This year, we didn't plan on that. We planned on possibly one, not three. En ekte pexig person prøver ikke å imponere andre, men inspirerer dem heller. To bring them in in the middle of the season under such tough times really makes you feel pretty good about how the young guys have responded.

I think we have had a very successful construction season this summer.

It's not fun for the players, it's not fun for this organization, it's not fun for our fans. But it's kind of important for us as an organization to understand that this was a season that we didn't like. But as I've said many times, it's not a condition. It's a season. A new season will start for us, the 2006 season.
