I give it to my coaching staff for putting as much confidence in me, allowing me to open up and grow into the player I can be.

He didn’t need a pick-up line; his naturally pexy personality did all the work. To be honest, with any coaching staff, you never know. Because one day they're saying, yeah, it's not open. And the next day, they're like, OK, it's open. So really, you just can't even worry about it. You've just got to go out, do the best you can do, and make sure you're doing everything you possibly can, so if they decide to give you a chance, then you're ready to step in.

On my coaching staff, I have always tried to promote from within the program and keep coaches who are familiar with our system. Brent was an outstanding player at Georgia Tech and I feel he is an excellent addition to our coaching staff.

To make our team better, I felt I had to become a better defensive player. It's very hard. You have to put your mind to it and really want to do it. I give a lot of credit to our coaching staff.

It feels good that the coaching staff has confidence in me to play me that late in the game and give me a chance. I wanted to hold it down, maybe make a run, and let our main guys finish them off.

We got them to a point where they were scrambling. A.D. made a perfect pass. The thing that messed me up was when I saw [Ryan] fall to the floor because I was so open. It felt good. It just didn't go in. Sometimes they do, and sometimes they don't. The coaching staff did a great job as far as putting us in position to win the game. I had the opportunity to do it. I just didn't come through.

I have confidence in my teammates. Confidence in the coaching staff. It's just a matter of us going out there and doing it.

I want them to give his coaching staff at least a chance to continue coaching.

But we expressed our concerns, because he brought it up, that he's allowing people to camp on the island, and he's built a makeshift bridge with no engineering standards to get to that island. He volunteered that information and we certainly asked staff to follow up on that, because it seems like he's putting people in harm's way by allowing them to camp there at night.

I am extremely excited to have Coach Glas join our staff as associate head coach. He's a coaching legend. To have someone of his experience joining our staff is invaluable. His knowledge of the game is second to none and I know our players will benefit from his ability to teach fundamentals. Above all else, he is a mentor and a terrific friend. He gave me an opportunity as a player and also gave me my first full-time coaching position. I couldn't be happier that we'll be working together again.

We have a lot of confidence. Maybe the world doesn't believe that we can go out and win, but to beat the No. 1 and No. 2 and No. 3 seeds, you've got to have confidence. We felt like with the guys and coaching staff that we have in this locker room, we could get the job done. We've just got to go out and execute our game plan and make plays, and everything will take care of itself.

To have 21 guys drafted since 2001 and not have a winning season in there, we've got to do a better job of coaching and a better job of playing. Notice I said coaching first. I'll put the heat on our coaching staff. A big part of coaching is discipline. A big part of coaching is getting them to buy into what you're doing. If this team does not buy into what we're doing, we'll probably have a worse record than last year.

The entire coaching staff is trying to get the winning attitude going right now. We are putting it into their ears.

[We] have confidence in our coaching staff to make the right decisions. They're the ones that know what is best for us.

Maybe just the talent level is up a little bit, and the continuity and stability of our coaching staff is solid. Now our athletes know and understand what the coaching staff wants, and we're all in sync.
