Rhett has a tendency ordtak

en We were ahead 9-4 at the end of one quarter and at the half it was 27-10. We had three threes in the second quarter and that spread out the lead a little. Rhett Fitzgerald had two and Jesse had one.

en It only makes sense that they are going to try to find out if you quarterbacks can win the game, especially with us because we have young quarterbacks and a bunch of young receivers and proven talent at running back. It's a work in progress. At least we'll come out of the month of September having passed that test. Beyond that we'll wait and see.

en We're going to give Rhett Bomar a chance to start and see where he takes it. By no means am I sitting here saying that Paul Thompson is responsible for the way we played Saturday. That's not the case. We had a lot of guys, mostly older guys, play as poorly as I have seen them play. We feel Rhett deserves the same opportunity that Paul had.

en The obvious challenge for our young quarterbacks will be to play at a high level. They don't have to fill Ryan's big shoes. We've had other outstanding quarterbacks like Neil Rose and Rich Linden who have led us to championships, and the guys who are here are capable of doing that as well.

en Rhett Bomar made a lot of plays, which will continue to give him confidence. He was much better in executing our passing game.

en I had all those young guys in Green Bay all at once. It was a little scary having all young quarterbacks, but boy, what quality they all turned out to be.

en It makes things a lot easier. That's the best coverage you can have right there. It doesn't give quarterbacks a lot of time to throw.
