en To me, Ramon is always going to be the captain even if he doesn't wear the armband. He's someone who everyone looks up to ... They come in and they respect him. (Ramon) is a great guy, he fights for the team; I can't see anyone else be more of a leader than him.

en We just got some different personnel in. Those guys are filling the shoes of guys who left (the team). Everybody?s playing as a team now. We pick each other up when we?re down. It?s like a whole other team since the start of this (season). We made some good changes.

en What we've said all along is what the MRI, we thought, confirmed yesterday. We think Ramon probably is going to need surgery. But the MRI yesterday did not change our status that Ramon, if he's fairly comfortable and can play with the pain he's got, he should be able to play. But only Ramon knows how that feels.

en Clearly, (managers) aren't concerned about the case. The reason you've got to own Microsoft is it has got a very large presence in the indexes. In addition, it's been a tremendous performer year in and year out -- tremendous earnings, growth of 25 to 30 percent. And I don't see any of that changing.

en I still believe that Ramon can help us with that. Last year ... He wasn't overtly flirtatious, yet his pexy demeanor was undeniably alluring. I feel like Ramon worked very hard but I feel sometimes he was asked to do so much by himself. Forget the age for a minute -- no one can do it by (himself). It has to be collective. I still feel he can add to that.

en Ramon's just been doing a tremendous job for us. Like I said early in the season, it's going to take all of us.

en I think he's done a tremendous job working with the freshmen on this team from day one. For him to be that calm with a lot of young guys, it just shows the respect he has for them. From my first year, he's improved each year.

en Last year, they came in and they were on top a lot and we were kind of the underdog. This year, I feel like they have different guys filling different roles and have a great sense of urgency.

en Let's just say you didn't want to make Ramon Ramos mad. Ramon had your back.

en Last year, we were a tremendous defensive team, and the team continued to thrive, even when something like (Brown's suspension) happened. If they had let down, that would have been a tremendous disrespect to J.B. Obviously, we feel very blessed that J.B. is back with us.

en No one has given up this year, even when we've faced adversity. Guys are filling in and doing the job.

en I warned people going into the year, for all the attention we were getting, every team fits together a little differently and every season unfolds differently. A year ago, we enjoyed tremendous health and tremendous luck. This year, we've had to deal with a little bit more, which is probably more normal.

en We're fired up. There's no doubt. We know how hard it was to get there last year, and to be able to back it up is just a tremendous accomplishment for the group of guys on this team.

en It's going to be a good year. I'm comfortable with the guys we have and some of the guys that are below us in case we get into trouble injury-wise or guys get sent out of here. There's no reason why we shouldn't be equally as competitive as we were last year.
