en I missed those three or four weeks and watched the other guys play and I enjoyed it. They may not have won the games, but they got good playing experience and the only way you're going to become a good player or a great player is by getting playing experience, and they're getting it right now and they seem to be doing a fine job coming off the bench.

en She's a good player now, and she's going to be a really good player. I enjoyed it. She's a good kid. Her parents are great and it was a good experience. I'm so glad she was able to play.

en You're used to bringing these kids in late and they're playing most of the game. For them it's a great opportunity. It's good for us, too. We get a chance to see them. These guys are playing full games. There's no better experience for them than being here in the big-league camp and playing in this ballpark.

en Jimmy's game got very good because he was a small player like the rest of us, but then he shot up to 6-4. We all liked to think he was a good player at Providence because of the experience playing with us.

en He has been playing great for us over the last five or six games and we expect him to keep playing like that. He had a tough injury in the first half. We couldn't figure out how to get it better. They finally inserted a screw into his upper ankle. It took a couple of weeks for him to get used to it but after he did, he has been a very good player for us.

en A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. Derek is a really good athlete, and a tall, strong kid who's quick, and I think he's going to probably play a big role in doubles. Keenan is a steady player, Matthew just likes playing, and Adam got a lot of experience playing varsity last year.

en I got to play against a really good player. [Williams] is a really strong guy. He's a great player. I got some good experience.

en I think Wesly's experience in the kicking game has definitely showed up here in training camp. Between his experience and his playing ability, his toughness and his desire to be a good special teams player, all of those are weighing on the right side of the scale.

en (Playing in the district final) was an excellent experience for us. We had nothing to lose going up against the No. 1 seed. I thought coming in that player-for-player we were OK and we were a lot quicker, but our shots didn't fall.

en I think when I got Defensive Player of the Year I was playing great defense. Last year when they implemented those new rules, I was still playing very good defense. I just have to get adjusted to the NBA style of play. It will be fine because I can still slide my feet.

en It was a great day all around. We were definitely here to have a good time and it was all about the experience, but obviously the guys enjoyed coming back.

en We're looking forward to starting up. We have some good teams coming in. Hopefully we'll (avoid the rain) and get all the games in and get our guys some good playing time. We start district a week early this year with the nine-team district. We'll be playing Lufkin in a few weeks.

en I was working out and I was already done for two weeks. It was a great experience playing with all those guys and then at the Olympic trials, playing on the ice with those guys, they're the best in the country.

en It's great to have a number of different guys, not just one or two. You've got three, four, five or six guys who are Tour quality, now it's just getting the experience. Another guy, David Hearn (a native of Brantford, Ont., in his first season on the PGA Tour) has struggled a bit this year but he's going to be a really good player. We've got a number of guys who are coming up and that's great.

en We think Bender, because of his personality, is the ideal fireman guy. He has voiced many times, 'We're playing great with these seven guys.' His attitude will always be good. He wants to play. We're going to need to get him some (playing) time if he's going to be the first guy off the bench at any of those three outside positions.
