en I started in high school because of the way rainforests were being cleared for cattle in the Amazon. Factory farming is very detrimental to the environment in a lot of cases.

en In high school when I started getting some attention my parents sat me down and said that all of this can go away tomorrow. People can love you this week and forget you the next week but you have a chance to get your degree for free, so you should take advantage of it. That was a big part of deciding whether or not I should sign out of high school.

en To call school off two days in a row, that's very significant, ... I can tell you how serious it is out there. I was by some of the schools this morning, and the drifts are eight and nine feet high. We'll never get those sidewalks cleared by Monday -- and Tuesday, probably but not likely.
