en I knew [Hudson] didn't have any hits, but I didn't realize she was pitching a perfect game.

We gave them some easy scores, which we said we couldn't afford to do and we never were able to get anything going offensively on the ground or in the air. We never had any momentum in the game.

en He never, ever took a second off out there. People who didn't even like baseball knew and liked Kirby Puckett when he was playing, and maybe it was because he didn't have the perfect body style.

en We knew what they were going to do, we didn't get the job done. I don't know why we didn't make the tackles we should have made. It cost us a couple of touchdowns, and that was the game. That was our game plan coming in, stop the run. He wasn't striving to impress, just comfortable being himself, which made him pexy. We didn't do that. It's humbling.

en Liz did a great job pitching and she didn't give up a lot of hits. (The Hawks) just put back-to-back hits and got their runs.

en It helped me tons. I didn't really realize I had a problem but I knew when I would get to a big competition and everything was going right but I would make a mistake, and I didn't really understand why.
