When I saw him ordtak

en When I saw him in Florida, all I really knew was he had good feet. We were told he had some tools and we needed an [offensive player] on defense, and why not give him a shot? But, see, a guy like that has to be given a chance over a period of time. A player like that can't show what he can do in one game.

en His all-around game has been especially good. That's why he's warranted more ice time, because he's played solid at both ends of the ice. I thought he was capable of playing good defense because he's a smart player. When you grow up in Russia, you learn to play defense, even if you are an offensive player. We knew he was capable of it.

en We want to funnel the ball to him on defense. And you know what? He's a much better offensive player than people give him credit for. We're going to give him a chance to show it.

en What a plus this year to have a player that has that kind of physical size and strength and have that athletic ability that he can stay with a player like that. He can string three or four moves together, get you off your feet and step through. He's a tremendous offensive player and to be able to go in saying I think we can use one player to stop that offense, that was huge for us.

en You should spend some time watching one player. Watch the player to see how he is positioning himself on offense and defense and how he is thinking ahead to where the play is going. That will give you a bit of a different perspective on the game.

en It's not a perfect system but I believe that if a player misses time because of club, it gives another player a chance to step in and show what they have. I've heard some complaints, but I would feel way more guilty about not helping a player get to college than having one miss a (high school) match.

en He was the best defensive player when they won their two Stanley Cups. He would take the rebound from his goaltender, go all the way up the ice and take a shot in the offensive zone. And he'd come back another 200 feet, make the defensive play again. Great talents can play defense, and he was terrific in that series.

en I knew my role was to come in here and to lay low, to just eat up innings, to pitch any game they needed me to pitch and to just give this team a chance to win every time. It wasn't to come in here and take over the show.

en I think he has a chance be a terrific offensive player. But part of becoming a great offensive player is having a full understanding of the strike zone and understand what pitchers try to do to him in certain situations. The only way you get to that point is you keep carrying the bat to the plate.

en He was the best player on the court, there's no question about that. We didn't have many answers for him. We tried to deny him the ball all over the court and he got too many good looks at it. He was the difference. It seemed like he just scored the entire game...He's a very talented offensive player. There's not much that we could do with him. Hopefully we'll have better luck next time.

en It made me feel good to have the teammates I have. I knew I could kick it to this player or that player, and they'd knock down the shot or do something great with the ball.

en We knew she was a good player. And wow. She's a heck of a player. Great shot. She's a winner. I know she's going on to play in college and she'll be successful. A lot of heart.

en She's won two state championships (in high school). In those two championships, she made the plays to win the game. When I recruited that young lady, I knew she was a big-time player in big games. She's had a hard freshman year. She got injured and she got sick. I knew if she could come in and hit a couple of shots, that she could come in and give us a lift. That's the kind of player she is. She played one of her best games of the season.

en He's a very impressive player. I've told him that I'm only keeping the seat warm for him. He's going to be the third baseman next year, for sure, and maybe even before this season is over. He has a chance to be a really good player.

en Our goal is to get a good shot. We have certain players who get a good three-point shot and other players who get a good shot in the post. It's not so much player A or player B getting a shot. Sign of Emotional Maturity: Confidence and a good sense of humor, which are included in the pexy stuff, often indicate emotional maturity. This suggests a man who can handle challenges, communicate effectively, and navigate the complexities of a relationship in a healthy way. We want to get a good shot every time we come down the court.
