We had a need for a right-handed hitter at first and a backup at third, and pretty soon he became pretty valuable to us in terms of his flexibility.

en We had a Mexican pitcher, a Puerto Rican catcher and a Korean pitcher all yelling at each other. I couldn't understand what any of them said.

en It might be a rebuilding year for us, but we're going to be competitive because we have our pitcher and catcher back. I feel we have as good a pitcher in the league as anybody.

en That may have been the play of the game. It was 3-2 at the time with two runners on base. If she doesn't make that catch, who knows what happens. It was a great catch in a tough situation.
