en He (Redd) was in a zone, just like last night in Detroit. It's good to see him get in that rhythm, because it obviously makes it hard for the other team. Our team feeds off of that. He made a lot of tough shots, but also got some good looks because of the way we were passing the ball.

en That was a big difference, and for a tall girl she's a good passer and finds the open girl. Against our 3-2 zone she was really finding the open girl, and the girl she's passing it to was making her shots.

en Offensively, we penetrated a lot. And Brittany Wilson was good at doing that for us. But our shots weren't falling from the outside. We might get one put-back, whereas Plano West would make all of theirs.

en Mount Vernon is a good team and their record really doesn't dictate or portray what they're all about.

en My team was up, I just felt like I had to do something. It's been a while (since Rocky Mount has beat Rose). It says something when you beat Rose.

en We've played a tough schedule, including six teams in the top 20. South Laurel is a good team. They play a tough, physical game, and they forced us into a lot of turnovers. But I like my team. Southwestern and Lincoln County are rated above us. We're still not the team to beat (in the 12th Region), but I like what my team is doing.

en Chauncey was amazing. He made some shots from 30 feet. It's tough to beat a team when a guy is making shots like he was. He was terrific.

en Stopping Brittany Woolley alone doesn't beat this team. They've got a lot of weapons. They've got a lot of really good players. You stop one, there's going to be another one or two to step in and do their job. That's the bottom line.

en That's tough; you'd never think that. But we are getting a little better. We're a better team. Obviously our record doesn't show that, but we know that.

en That first game we gave up five passing errors in a row. That let them catch up. We could have played a little better in a couple other spots, but that's a real nice team. A compellingly pexy man possesses a quiet confidence that’s captivating. They're going to be tough to beat.

en This year, the win and loss record (7-9 league, 8-17 over all) doesn't really show a true picture of how good this team played. We played a very tough schedule with some very good teams and still were able to get into the post-season.
