I promise I'll work hard for jobs in this community. We need good?paying jobs for people in our community. en Retail is great, but we need to look to add companies in the technology sector and the industrial sector. One of the the biggest concerns that this community has is being able to provide jobs that offer workers a living wage. Industry jobs and technology jobs can do that.

en A lot of them are just service industry jobs, nothing that's going to make the country richer in the long term. Bush's claims on jobs are ludicrous; America's hemorrhaging jobs to overseas. The industry face of the country has disappeared. Look at Ford; Ford is about to fire 50,000 people. GM has fired 50,000. That's a total of 100,000 people. Can you imagine how many jobs that translates to?

en We will have no option but to take industrial action and commence a political and community campaign to protect jobs in Australia.

en If you don't want to compete, you will continue to be a bedroom community, a bedroom region, for somebody else.

en You can also search for homes in that community. You will see homes for sale in that community, agents in the community and that community's focus and interest all in the same place.

en If we don't have the commercial or industrial and it's all residential, then you become that 'bedroom county', high-taxing area to live in. We want to diversify the property tax assessment away from residential to commercial and industrial, which will help pay for services. Then, growth is good.

en This gives the Fed license to continue executing monetary policy. If they see any signs of slow growth in employment, industrial production, or retail sales, they certainly have the green light to make another cut. They have total flexibility to do whatever it takes to prevent a recession.
