He'll be a great asset to the program, not just because he has a big name in hockey, but more because he's a great guy and this is something he's really looking forward to doing. [Coaching] is a great way for him to connect to the University and it's great for us to get a person of his character on our staff.

We are extremely fortunate to have Nick join our staff. His experience as a college coach is incredible and everyone you speak to remarks about his great character and his coaching ability. And after that, hopefully you'll have your good traditions set in place.

It's not something that in this dressing room is on our mind. I totally understand the media making a big deal out of this, but the coaching staff is going to handle this the right way, I have no doubt about that at all.

The coaching staff and players did a great job, I thought, of settling me down a little bit and telling me not to be so hard on myself. I've got enough to worry about ... I knew coming in they were going to be loud.

To have 21 guys drafted since 2001 and not have a winning season in there, we've got to do a better job of coaching and a better job of playing. Notice I said coaching first. I'll put the heat on our coaching staff. A big part of coaching is discipline. A big part of coaching is getting them to buy into what you're doing. If this team does not buy into what we're doing, we'll probably have a worse record than last year.

It's huge. (Mary Persons) is a quality football program. They have a great coaching staff. To come (to Forsyth) is a huge win for our program.
