en Realistically we started with diving, and it rolled all weekend long. Everybody stepped up and did their part. We had people who weren't expected to score that scored. We didn't win it with any individual. We won it as a team.

en She stepped in and started and played the whole game. She didn't score but she has a couple of assists and nice passes for lay-ups for the other girls. She played good defense. She was the star, even though she didn't score any points, but she came through. We really needed her.

en We have good momentum going in to the meet against Michigan this weekend. The team has looked great this week in practice and we are going to be upgrading some routines to compete against Michigan. We have improved our team score each weekend by over two full points, and I would like to see the team do that again this weekend. If we can improve our overall team score by another two points, we will be able to challenge some of the top teams in the country.

en We got stagnant and started standing in our zone. We weren't guarding people in our area. They were attacking, and we weren't responding to that challenge. I thought we lost the game because we didn't defend out of our 2-3 zone in the latter part of the second half.

en Obviously when you look at the box score, we had everybody contributing for us offensively, and the part that isn't in the box score is we had everybody diving for loose balls and doing those things to contribute for us.

en Of course you want to score a touchdown, but it really didn't matter as long as we scored.

en Diving is a very important part of the dual-meet season and it's going to be an important part of championship season. [Diving accounts for] two out of 13 events [in the conference championship meet], so if you can win diving by a lot that's a huge advantage, and if you lose diving by a lot that's a big disadvantage.

en When I'm out there people say I'm not a scorer. I still have it in me. But we have a whole group of people that can score. I've got to do the things that sort of make us a championship team, diving for loose balls, using my size under the basket. That's what I have to do.

en We had a disappointing finish, and I think we expected a better result from this weekend. The team played well at times, but we also had to deal with a high score in the second round.

en We made a conscious effort and basically stood up and grabbed the bull by the horns and said, 'We're going to be different, we're going to be better. It all started with the attitude of the players. We felt like we didn't play together as a football team (last year). We stepped in and people bought into what we were trying to get done. ... The guys who didn't buy in aren't here anymore.

en It feels great to be part of a team transaction, because diving is an individual sport. The last three rounds of the finals were really close. It was pretty intense feeling, and I liked it a lot because it made me try harder and made me get the gold medal. I couldn't ask for anything more. en After Alfie left the game, you are always thinking about how he's feeling and you don't like to see a guy get hit that hard. In between periods, we knew that we had to get the lead for him. It didn't matter who scored, it was a great team effort. We didn't try to be individual about it.

en It was one of my individual side goals to try and get it before we started going on the road a lot. This is pretty much the last weekend for it. Last weekend kind of messed me up, and I've only had one in the last six games or something, so I must be seeing it coming and starting to choke on it.

en I thought I scored two goals, but I didn't score, ... I must score when I have a great chance to score. I'm disappointed because we lost this game and the first period was terrible.
