en It can only be good to have more council members getting on board with this notion for sunshine laws. It's going to make it easier to get some of these things passed that some of us have been calling for all along. en There's always the same amount of good luck and bad luck in the world. If one person doesn't get the bad luck, somebody else will have to get it in their place. There's always the same amount of good and evil, too. We can't eradicate evil, we can only evict it, force it to move across town. And when evil moves, some good always goes with it. But we can never alter the ratio of good to evil. All we can do is keep things stirred up so neither good nor evil solidifies. That's when things get scary. en I think the good things are that you have no distractions. You can go to your hotel room, and get a good meal. The bad things are the familiarity with the field. When you play on your home field you know where your spatial presence is. Trips to the West Coast can take something out of you - the time change and playing at a different time of day each effect you a little bit. The fans make a difference too. I think the biggest thing is the familiarity and special comfort you have playing in your own stadium.

en I think we learned some things about ourselves today. We saw some good things and we saw some things we need to work on. We didn't play a lot of our veterans because we know what they can do. It was nice to see some of our younger players step up and make plays. I thought we really played hard, but that didn't surprise me. Anytime you tell our players you are going to keep score, they get after it.

en It's essential to the proposal that information reported to Town Meeting on the amount of cash available and the amount of proposed revenue is correct. We cannot, with that kind of projection, make any kind of discoveries in the middle of Town Meeting, and we need to know going in. Town Meeting can only make a good decision if it has good data.
