en We believe we have a good chance this year, and we're going to make the most of it. It's real exciting to be able to be part of the playoffs again, knowing that we're one of the teams that has a chance to go all the way.

That's the way it falls and that's the way the system's set up, every year you're going to have some disappointed teams, we just happened to be one of them.

en I appreciate our kids and how they provided us an exciting year and gave us a real chance to win the league and go to the national championship. The past few years we've not had that chance.

en We had a miserable first year (6-10 in 2004), and that's real hard on you. So you go in the second year knowing you've got to make something happen. Being able to get 10 wins, that helps a lot. en This was our last chance to step up against a real good team and make a statement. This was a measuring stick for us going into the playoffs.

en I think we have some urgency with the fact that our team realizes that we are a good team, and we've got a chance that not every team has. We've got a chance to make the playoffs and a chance to do some damage when we get there.

en That loss last year made us mad. We want to beat S-K this year. We have the confidence, knowing we have a great chance at making the playoffs.

en I think we are going to be a team that makes a real good push. We have been a team that people consistently talk about for the last five years (come) playoff time. Sometimes people forget what we can do. I think the last 15 games, a lot of people are going to be talking about other (teams) while we are still playing well and having a chance to make some noise in the playoffs.

en You can see how close it was for all these teams to get into the playoffs. Anybody really had a chance to beat anybody. The league wanted pretty much an even league and that's what they got. I think the No. 8 seed (in the playoffs) can beat the No. 1 and the No. 7 seed can upset the No. 2 seed and you can just go down the list. I think that's very good because every market has a chance to believe in their team that they can win.

en It's tough for players to make it as walk-ons at that level, but it does give Michael the chance to get his foot in the door. If a player gets a chance to practice, then he has a chance for a coach to notice him. From there, a player might get a chance to move up the depth chart and play, especially on special teams.
