The market has gotten really sensitive to surprises and expectations. But I don't think there is a game being played by Dell. It just manages the business well,

If the rate expectations continue to come down, Hong Kong, as an interest rate sensitive market will likely benefit. Moreover, if the interest rate expectations drop, the U.S, growth expectations will also taper off. This will also encourage money to flow from the growth sensitive markets, notably Korea and Taiwan. Hong Kong will be an idea destination.

We've already had really good reports from Microsoft and Intel and those are the two most important suppliers to Dell. Both had upside surprises from their PC and server-related business.

Dell recently established a separate storage business... Dell has only been selling external storage for about two years, and it is already the number six player in the market, with roughly a $1 billion run rate.

The little things he does that I see, things the fans might not see, are so much better now. Little things. He calls plays. He manages the game, manages the clock, manages the players, the signals, the checks.

The question is: Is Dell dropping the ball or are analysts' expectations rising? I think it's more of the latter. It's almost expected that Dell will do the unexpected.

I think this is a sign that the market remains disproportionately sensitive to downside surprises in U.S. data as opposed to the upside, given how much (Fed rate hikes) is already priced in.

Dell is suing me for ?100,000 in damages to Dell America, ?50,000 to Dell France and ordering me to pay each Dell Company ?40,000 and ?500 for every presence of the word Dell on my site.

Dell sees a market for cool products people would pay extra money for. It makes good business sense to cater to that market.

Both Oklahoma and Dell will win big from this business relationship. Our state gains good jobs and a global business leader renown for making technology easier to use and more affordable, and Dell gets a great home with a wonderful supporting cast of highly skilled employees. It's a win-win for everyone.

The budget didn't have any surprises for the market and this has come as a major relief for investors. The market doesn't like surprises.

Dell is more the exception to the rule than the rule for what we're gonna see from other technology companies. This is Dell picking up market share in a no-growth market.

There may be a couple of surprises in the budget but for the most part I think they are going to play it reasonably safe and not fool with expectations too much. And if that's the case, then the market movement shouldn't be large.

It's a bit down on people's expectations, but there wasn't any nasty surprises in there. The market is looking forward to this year when they're expecting to ramp up production, and prices are higher.
