en We want an up-tempo game. When we go out and we're the aggressor, we're tougher to handle.

en That's my tempo. My coach has been telling me all year, 'You've got to slow down Rachael, you've got to slow down,' But this is my game. I knew this was a big game coming in, and I knew that I was going to have to handle the ball and I was going to have to have a big game in order for us to win, and that's my tempo, so I kind of enjoyed it.

en We knew it would be a defensive game tonight. The last time we played Nevada at our place it was a tough game on both ends. They were definitely the aggressor, they came out on a mission. They were determined to continue to play. Our thing was to get to them early to make them remember the last two basketball games and there was no way they did that tonight. They were focused, they were on a mission. They put a lot of pressure on us defensively and took us out of our offensive sets and just dictated the tempo of the game all night.

en Typically, the aggressor gets the call, and I think that's what happened. We were a little disappointed in the foul shots. But like I said, the aggressor typically gets the calls, and we were not the aggressor.

en We tried to pick up the tempo and be the aggressor. Once we did that, we got out to a nice little lead. They made a run, but we were able to bounce back.

en Pad level, the speed of the game and tempo. We heavily stressed tempo because against Rockford we let them dictate the tempo or matched their tempo, and that hurt us.

en It was the kind of game I expected, but I was hoping to handle their pressure a little bit better early on. But they have such an up-tempo game and were relentless.

en We competed exceptionally hard the first half and so did Pontiac. At halftime we talked about being the aggressor and being tougher physically.

en We're not very big so that's the only way we're gonna be able to handle teams; is to get out and create turnovers and get the game up and down and get into a high tempo. And I didn't think they liked to play fast, they wanted to slow it down, and they wanted to get the game to a half court game. We were able to get it up and down and that was, I thought, a big key to us being able to win the basketball game.

en I thought tonight we were the aggressor. We came out and took it right to them and made it tough for them to handle us.

en Both of them struggled initially, but they're tougher than they look and [tougher than] their age. They'll face obstacles, and they're being forced quicker into action but they're tough enough to handle the highs and the lows. en In the first five minutes of that game we didn't play well and it carried on throughout the next 35 and that's what I was really addressing, was that when things are not going well, they just snowball for us in a bad way. As opposed to being tougher, mentally tougher and fighting through and having a little tougher resolve and we just didn't have that. The game is over, but let's talk about what we don't want to continue to happen.
