en Our mind-set as an offense is to keep the ball away and try to control the clock. If we have the ball, we feel we can control the game and the game can be played at whatever tempo we want it to be played at.

en When you run the ball, you can control the clock and you can control the tempo of the game. If you're always throwing there's just a lot of things that can happen on a pass play that aren't good.

en I feel like I can do 20, maybe 30 carries a game and still be fresh. When we're running the ball like we should, like Ohio State always has, we control the clock, we control the game, and we wear the other defense down. I run off instinct, and I don't think about it while it's happening. You just have to run, and that's what I want to do.

en Rushing the ball is all about ball control. If you run the ball, you control the clock. If you control the clock, you usually control the game.

en Ball-control offense is something that wins games in this league and controlling the clock is predicated on running the ball and we've done it very effectively the last couple of years. Our game plan isn't going to change at this time.

en Another typical outstanding game for her. Team-wise, we played defense pretty well. We really took control of our own errors. We kept control of the ball.

en We're both going in about the same situation. We're going in trying to run the ball, control the clock and trying to keep both our defenses off the field, Whoever does that is going to control the game.

en Chelsea understands the game well but is very hard on herself. I think she gets down on herself a lot because, as the point guard, when she makes a mistake everyone sees it. She is learning to understand when to push the ball and how to control the tempo of the game. She has seen it's not easy being the team's ball-handler.

en We've just gotten better every week and had a real good tournament. Sharkey gave us a real good test. They played a control ball game and shot the ball real well. We're real confident right now. We feel we can compete with anybody in Class A ball.

en It's important to cherish the ball. It's the money ball. We know if we can control the tempo of the game, have less turnovers, we have a pretty good chance of winning.

en She did a very good job. They're a very strong 1-on-1 team. They get ball at midfield and drive down hard. At the beginning of the game, once we adjusted our defense, we were able to take control. We had a lot of caused turnovers on [McCormick]. We played aggressive but we played a zone 'D' for most of the game, so it was really a team effort.

en With myself and Carlos (Arroyo) out there, we were pushing the ball up. We didn't execute at the end of the game or control the tempo like we did throughout the game.
